So I just watched Coco Before Chanel (or Coco Avant Chanel in French!)
I have to say the film has been marketed to make you believe it is going to be Sex and the City meets pre-war France but unfortunately only the last five minutes barely approached that alluring glamorous world of high fashion that many of us love.
It was mainly a love story laced (excuse the pun!) with scenes of a talented seamstress who favoured a masculine slant to female clothing.
An interesting film about an incredible woman, but does not do her full justice I feel. 5 out of 10 for me.
